At long last, the NFL kicks off their 2020 season tonight. The Houston Texans will be traveling to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of an exciting 2020 NFL Divisional Round game.
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will be unveiling their first Super Bowl banner in half a century. The former Texas Tech star led the Chiefs to a 31-20 win in Super Bowl LIV over the San Francisco 49ers. In result, he was given a 10-year, $500 million dollar contract, and will be looking to start off his new deal with a bang.
Deshaun Watson for the Texans is one of the best young talents in the league. However, he will have to navigate with a depleted wide receiver corps after standout Deandre Hopkins was traded to Arizona during the offseason. Tonight will give the first look into whether or not the Texans will be legitimate contenders this season.
